Chakra means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being. There are seven main chakras that run along your spine. Each seven chakras include the crown chakra, third eye chakra, throat chakra, heart chakra, solar plexus chakra, sacral chakra, and root chakra. The crown chakra is located at the top of the head, meaning it helps with  awareness and intelligence, its color is violet or white. The third eye is located between your eyebrows, meaning it helps with intuition and imagination, its color is indigo. The throat chakra is located on the throat, meaning it helps with communication, its color is blue. The heart chakra is located at the center of the chest, meaning it helps with love and compassion, its color is green. The solar plexus chakra is located at the upper abdomen area, in the stomach area, meaning it helps with self-esteem and confidence, its color is yellow.  The sacral chakra is located below the belly button, just above the pubic bone, meaning it helps with sexuality, pleasure, and creativity, its color is orange. The root chakra is located at the tailbone area, meaning physical identity, stability, grounding, its color is red. In addition, meditating with crystals could help align and balance your chakras. Crystals act as a power hold for healing as they allow positive, fruitful energy to flow into the body and do away with the negative, toxic energy.
